Tracking congrats to Jamie and Rigby

Congrats to Laurie and Bob Rollins on finishing Jamie’s TD (Tracking Dog) title on Feb 3, 2013!   Jamie is from the Beer litter and is now Tigana Blackwatch Cream Porter TD.

And Congratulations again to Bob and Laurie because two weeks later, they earned Rigby’s TD from the Fab Four litter.   Rigby is just 8 months old and a very strong tracker- his registered name/title is now Calliope Tigana Cream Tangerine TD.  Jamie was also in this test and earned his second TD title.

Here’s the happy group:

Thistle in agility

Don and Thistle started off their agility competition career with a few titles in quick succession- NA, NAJ (Novice agility titles), and OAJ (Open agility Jumpers).   They need another qualifying leg to complete their OA.  Hopefully this will happen in May when they start competing again.

Here’s a video of a very muddy Thistle finishing his Open Jumpers title:

River – obedience

River (from the Famous Jingles litter) with his wonderful owner Meigs Matheson quietly earned two obedience titles in 2012- his CD from the Novice B classes and scores all in the mid to high 190s!    Then (as Meigs put it), they finished his GN (Graduate Novice) title without even realizing it.  🙂   Congratulations to a super team, who are now starting to compete in Open.  River’s registered name with titles is Tigana’s Land Of Sky Blue Waters CD BN GN RE .

Here’s River, having fun in Lake Tahoe.

Dani and Flyer’s Puppies are here!

The pups were whelped on June 22, 2012, 4 boys, called the Fab Four.   The litter theme is Beatles songs/albums/lyrics.  What fun!  Here are Dani and the pups when they were a week old.

Ronan goes to Monterey

Ronan and half-brother Rockie took a trip to Monterey, walking the Monterey Bay Coastal Recreation Trail from Fisherman’s Wharf in Monterey, past the Aquarium and Lover’s Point, turning around just before reaching the Lighthouse in Pacific Grove (which was surrounded by fog by the time they got there).   It was 9 miles round trip.   The map/route can be viewed here.

It was a gorgeous day at the ocean (click on any of the photos to view a larger size)

The boys visited the Aquarium

Ronan did some tide pool exploration

And marveled at the vastness of the ocean

They saw harbor seals sunning on the beach (many of which are about to have babies)

And took the requisite tourist photo with a Sea Otter wearing a grass skirt at Cannery Row

Ronan and Rockie highly recommend this walk, especially on a sunny day!
